I Didn’t Lose My Mind This Week, or The Music that Kept Me Sane

I’ve been having a rough couple of days – problems with the landlord, hectic work week, general sadness, etc… But there were a few things that got me through this week of all weeks and that was MUSIC. I’ve only dedicated a few posts to my love of music and here’s what got me through this week of hell…

My husband likes to say that Dave Matthews imitates Michael Stipe and although I will concede they have the same type of vocals, they are nothing alike.

I’m not a huge fan of Michael Buble, but there’s something so uplifting about this song.

I’m a big history buff and I love Johnny Cash so this song is just perfect.

I like this one for a few reasons – The Grapes of Wrath is a favorite book of mine and well, it’s just a really cool song.

This one’s for the Yankees… who ARE going to win the World Series.

So I say goodbye to this horrible week and welcome the next one, which will hopefully not be so bad. But at least I’ll have some good tunes to get me through it.
